Paul Bennett, Director
It was our absolute pleasure to welcome back Alessandra Tortone to St. John’s Wood earlier on in December. This gifted artist has, for the seventh year in a row, added a dash of festive cheer to the Behr & Butchoff window.
For 2021, Allessandra has made three whimsical soldiers the focal point of the artistic display. The figures, conjuring up images of The Nutcracker, now stand guard of the properties available for sale and to rent in St. John’s Wood and the surrounding areas.
Joining the soldiers are beautifully drawn snow scenes and a scattering of snowflakes – all wrapped up in a red bow, with Season’s Greetings from the Behr & Butchoff team. Our window is a small contribution to the wider St. John’s Wood neighbourhood, and we hope Allessandra’s work will raise a small as you pass by.
Now, back to those London properties that our soldiers are busy guarding. We have had to change the property details rather frequently, as 2021 has been a busy year for sales and new rentals. We predicted a positive 12 months ahead back in December 2020, and our forecast was fulfilled.
As we cross the line into 2022, we do so with a growing list of new buyers and tenants, drawn to St John’s Wood for its village-like atmosphere, walking distance to Regent’s Park and close proximity to the West End. If you are planning to sell or let a property in the near future, there is an audience of interested parties waiting and we expect another flurry of home movers to register with us in the New Year. Why not pre-book a valuation of your property now and set a date for this to take place in January?
Please be aware that Behr & Butchoff closes for Christmas on Tuesday 21st December and re-opens on Monday 3rd January 2022. We’d like to take this opportunity to wish you a wonderful holiday full of friends, family, food and festive cheer.
